iOS 18 Compatibility

Here is some important information about the upcoming iOS 18 release:

1. Compatibility: In general, no updates to the JourneyApps Runtime or Containers are expected to stay compatible with iOS 18.

   • Tested Versions: We internally tested container versions 24.7.1, 24.4.1, and 24.2.1 with the latest iOS 18 beta, and they performed as expected on core functionality.

2. Older container versions or additional peace of mind: If your app uses an older container version or if you want extra assurance, we recommend testing your app on the publicly available iOS 18 Beta ahead the iOS 18 release (planned for 16 September at the time of writing).

   • To install the iOS 18 Beta on your iOS device, go to "General" > "Software Update" and select "Beta Updates." Ensure your Apple ID is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program or Apple Developer Program.
