Container 26.2.2 (Android, RealWear, iOS and Web)

We are excited to announce that version 26.2.2 of the JourneyApps Container has been released for Android, RealWear, iOS and Web.

Android, Realwear

  • Fixed issue where containers on Android 13+ devices were unable to receive broadcasts from external apps.

  • The SerialPort API (e.g. SerialPort.list()) will now trigger a Bluetooth permission request to scan for nearby devices when needed.

  • Fixed the JourneyApps icon being missing from the vanilla container on the Playstore.

iOS, Android, Realwear

  • Fixed memory leak associated with the Bluetooth API.

Web

  • Improved the file saving capabilities of the web container (Such as when clicking the download button on a display-file component). This change enables users to download non-synced, local Attachments e.g. generated CSV files and PDFs.

    • Requires Runtime 4.90.15+ or V5.0.0-Beta+8+
