Android Infinite Loading Screen Issue

This notice is to inform you of a known issue impacting some JourneyApps users due to a faulty Android WebView update.

What’s happening: A faulty version of Android WebView has been released, causing some Android devices to become stuck on an infinite loading screen when opening an app.

How to fix it: To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Update Android System WebView
    Visit the Play Store via this link and update the app.

  2. Uninstall the faulty version (if no update is available)
    If the update option isn’t available, click the same link and select "Uninstall" to revert to a previous working version.

  3. Restart your app
    After updating or uninstalling WebView, close and reopen your app to apply the changes.
